1-1. Introduction
 
11AC LTE VOIP ROUTER integrated access device (IAD) combines high performance 4G LTE module and 802.11ac/b/g/n wireless LAN (WLAN), along with high speed 10/100/1000M Mbps Ethernet switching, and voice over IP (VoIP) for IADs.
11AC LTE VOIP ROUTER has Quectel LTE module EP06,which is a multimode wireless communication module with mini-PCIE express interface, and provides equipment with high-speed data access service in mobile environment (LTE FDD, UTMS and GSM network). 11AC LTE VOIP ROUTER provides WLAN 802.11ac/b/g/n and the following security protocols: WEP, WPA, WPA2, and 802.1x. It also provides VoIP via standard analog phones with FXS.

1-2-1. Realtek RTL8685PB Features

RTL8685PB is an integrated System-on-a-Chip (SoC) with dual CPU MIPS interAptiv™ and RLX5281, a VDSL2/ADSL2+ Discrete Multi-tone (DMT) data-pump, a PTM/ATM, hardware-based ATM Segmentation and Reassembly (SAR) , a packet forwarding engine, USB, PCIE interface. RTL8685PB support the MIPS interAptiv™ with clock rate up to 1GHz dual core (RTL8685PB-VA5 for 1Ghz, RTL8685PB-VF5 for 750Mhz) and integrates an RLX5281 processor with clock rate up to 500MHz dual with DSP for VoIP. A standard 5-signal P1149.1 compliant EJTAG test interface is supported for CPU (RLX5281 and MIPS IA) testing and software development.

1-2-2. Quectel LTE Module EP06 Features


Quectel EP06 is a series of LTE-A Cat 6 module which provides data connectivity on LTE FDD, LTE TDD and WCDMA networks with PCI Express Mini Card 1.2 standard interface. It supports embedded operating systems such as WinCE, Linux, Android, etc., and also provides audio, high-speed data transmission and GNSS functionalities for customers’ applications.
The following table describes the detailed features of EP06 module.

 

1-2-3. Wireless Features

The RTL8812BRH/RTL8192ER supports fast receiver Automatic Gain Control (AGC) with synchronous and asynchronous control loops among antennas, antenna diversity functions, and adaptive transmit power control functions to obtain better performance in the analog portions of the transceiver.
The RTL8812BRH/RTL8192ER MAC supports 802.11e for multimedia applications, 802.11i and WAPI (Wireless Authentication Privacy Infrastructure) for security, and 802.11n/802.11ac for enhanced MAC protocol efficiency. Using packet aggregation techniques such as A-MPDU with BA and A-MSDU, protocol efficiency is significantly improved. Power saving mechanisms such as Legacy Power Save, U-APSD, and MIMO power saving reduce the power wasted during idle time, and compensate for the extra power required to transmit MIMO OFDM. The RTL8812BRH/RTL8192ER provides simple legacy, 20MHz/40MHz/80MHz co-existence mechanisms to ensure backward and network compatibility.

The miSLICTM Line Circuits together with a VoIP processor or SoC, provides an economical turn-key solution for derived voice applications. The miSLIC devices are controlled by a VoIP processor or SoC through a simple, single serial interface.
The dual channel Le9642 miSLIC device uses an energy efficient shared power supply topology for reduced BOM cost. The Le9642 can be configured for patent-pending shared Buck-Boost Automatic Battery Switching (BBABS) operation. Ringing and system power management are supported to limit the peak power requirements of each telephone line FXS port. The dual channel Le9642 features wideband clarity and complete BORSCHT functionality.
